PA Big Jump Prize Money to Increase

The Board of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show has voted to increase the PA Big Jump prize money from $30,000 to $40,000. "This increase is in keeping with our goal of rewarding those who are competing at the most difficult levels," stated Norman White, board chairman. "We also recognize that every competitor at this show deserves recognition for the accomplishment of qualifying to ride here. Even in our busy schedule, we are committed to taking the time for proper award ceremonies and recognition of their achievement."
The Pennsylvania National Horse Show will have a new look this year. "For the first time, we will be hiring a course decorator who will bring a fresh approach to the look of the courses," reported Peter Doubleday, show manager. "Our goal is to constantly make this show better for both the exhibitor and the spectator."
The 66th Pennsylvania National Horse Show will take place from October 13-22, 2011 at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA. More information available on the web site: www.PAnational.org, or by calling the office, 717 770-0222.
